“Your Response Matters”

James 1:19-20, Galatians 6:2, Proverbs 15:1, James 3:5-8, Proverbs 25:11, Colossians 4:6

-A soft answer turns away wrath. People have not really changed over the years. A great reminder to each of us; God gave us two ears and one mouth! Be careful how we say things and how we respond to others. A great lesson and so needed in this world today. 

Church Updates from August Meeting:

• Big thanks to Gail and Dobee for putting Welcome Bags for new visitors together. They are a hit. 
• School supplies collected were generously given to our Amish schools that were in need of supplies.
• We passed the background check for our Nursing Home visitation, so we will begin visitations 9/4/2025. We will meet at the Warsaw Nursing Home and 2:30pm.
• Updates are being done to the church directory. Please check with Sue B to make sure your information is correct. 
• Work will begin on the Dining Room/Kitchen updates once the sanctuary is completed. Please let Dobee or Brenda know if you have any suggestions on the updates. 
• Planning has started for our Holiday events “Thanksgiving & Christmas. Tentative date is December 14th.
